The Answer and the Question

Posted by

The answer for today’s blog is a UPF 50+ stinger suit from Exotic Waterwear.

The question arises from the Channel 9 Today Show News this morning, when it talked about skin cancer, specifically melanoma.

According to the show, 80,000 people will develop skin cancer here in the next 5 years and 10,000 will die from it!

We’ve highlighted skin cancer before, and will many times as skin protection is what Exotic Waterwear is all about. Especially now, with the current heat wave of 40 Celsius, it’s extremely likely people will flock like sheep to the beaches, pools, lakes and rivers for relief.

Sadly, even though they may use sunscreen, many will ultimately get sunburnt and this, in most cases, is what damages skin cells and can lead to skin cancer.

In fact sunburn causes about 95% of melanoma which just so happens to be the most common cancer in Australians 15 to 44 years old.

Life is such a precious thing, please don’t risk it for the sake of a tan. Please take a moment and check out

By far the easiest and most effective way to avoid life threatening damage is to simply cover up your skin before exposure to the sun.

On Cancer Council Australia’s website, their number 1 recommendation is “use sun-protective clothing that covers as much skin as possible.”

Well, at Exotic Waterwear we’ve got you covered with highly versatile, ultra funky, fashionable stinger suits that are UPF 50+.
